CSR: a second footprint assesment for Selha Group

Since 2021, Selha Group has decided to place CSR at the center of its orientations and strategic objectives. In terms of the environment, the starting point was to establish the carbon footprint of our sites. Today, we are publishing our second assessment (for the year 2022) with a significant decrease in our greenhouse gas emissions, resulting from our efforts to reduce energy consumption.

As a reminder, the carbon footprint is a tool that allows for the identification and measurement of all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to subsequently reduce them in a continuous improvement process. Committed to responsible practices, we have initiated various optimization projects to notably reduce our GHG emissions, setting a goal to reduce them by 50% by 2030 (within our responsibility perimeter compared to the year 2015). With our latest assessment, we have already achieved a 31% reduction, made possible through various actions, including:

  • Optimization of energy resources (transition to LED lighting, installation of heat pumps, consideration of energy heels, centralized management of air conditioning and heating, insulation work…)
  • Implementation of co-working spaces and telecommuting for eligible functions
  • Promotion of carpooling
