Friday 30th march 2022, our partners & suppliers are gathered on our Normandy’s plant around a huge spatial project: the conception & manufacturing of communication satellites modems. In the Forum program : project, strategical issues and technical challenges presentations to all partners.
Driven by Thales Alenia Space, National Center of Space Studies (CNES), Eutelsat, Easii IC, UMS & Selha Group, this industrial project is co-financed by France Relaunch and aims at creating a national branch to enhance our national sovereignty in the space domain on the ground segment sector. The goal of this project is to make accessible the broadband internet by a satellite communication terminal made in France.
It’s the start of a great adventure for Selha Group’s teams, they will be in charge of the design and then, manufacturing of these satcom terminals.
This presentation day alongside our partners provided an opportunity to lay out to our suppliers the strategical stakes, technical challenges and requirements linked for coming years. This day was full of exchanges & discussions and officially launched this new activity within Selha Group.
